Andrew Hamilton Barr
Director
Andrew has over 30 years of experience in the design industry. His early career included managing import/export operations in Africa, establishing key commercial partnerships in emerging markets. He then worked in interior design in the UK and South Africa, winning an international award at the Design and Decoration Awards in 2004, before setting up Espresso Design in 2006. In 2024, he received an IDA Award for Residential Interior Design, underscoring his ongoing commitment to excellence and innovation.

Ben Jones
Design Director
With over two decades of experience and an exceptional talent for conceiving and planning complex interiors, Ben combines technical precision with a refined aesthetic sensibility—and a genuine passion for design. After graduating, he joined Italian manufacturer Euromobil as account manager for the UK, USA, South Africa, and Taiwan, before moving to one of their London-based clients, where he worked on projects across Europe and Africa. Ben joined Espresso as Head of Design in 2007.
With over two decades of experience and an exceptional talent for conceiving and planning complex interiors, Ben combines technical precision with a refined aesthetic sensibility—and a genuine passion for design. Kim Hendrickx
Head of Design, United Kingdom
With more than 18 years of experience in the kitchen industry, working with leading Italian manufacturers and bespoke UK producers, Kim brings exceptional technical knowledge and creative finesse to every project. Having refined her craft at an architectural practice in Italy, she is fluent in all major 3D design programmes and tri-lingual, enabling her to collaborate seamlessly with international clients and partners.

Head of Design, South Africa
Andrea completed her Interior Design Higher Diploma in 2010 and developed her expertise in kitchen interiors before joining Espresso in 2013. A talented and meticulous designer, she combines creative vision with technical mastery, excelling in AutoCAD, SketchUp, ArtiCAD, and ADA—our full suite of computer-aided design tools. Andrea works across projects in the UK, Europe, and Africa, bringing her skill and exacting attention to detail to every commission.

Operations Manager
Kerri joined Espresso in March 2022 and serves as the team’s mission control, ensuring that every project runs smoothly from start to finish. With eight years of operational experience in the warehousing and aviation industries, she brings a keen eye for efficiency, organization, and problem-solving. Holding a Diploma in Business with a focus on Management and Marketing, Kerri combines practical expertise with strategic insight to keep the business running seamlessly. Known for her ability to anticipate challenges before they arise, she plays a pivotal role in coordinating projects, supporting the team, and keeping Espresso operating at its best.

She combines exceptional technical skill with a strong creative sensibility, bringing innovative solutions and precise attention to detail to every project. Anna’s experience spans a wide range of design challenges, allowing her to craft interiors that are both visually striking and flawlessly executed.
